"I want to see a world where young people are groomed to think with a global focus." - Stanley Ndambakuwa
Thank you very much for choosing the African Community Fund for Education Canada as your place to make a difference. I feel very much humbled by the commitment, the passion and the resources you commit every day in building the African Community Fund for Education Canada as an excellent organization. Passion is key, and we too are known for our passion to change the lives of vulnerable children including women and girls in African communities.
I started this personal journey by connecting with individual Canadians, many of whom are students, business leaders, government leaders, civil society leaders, and ordinary people. Canadians from all walks of life, gave me the opportunity to share with them my personal life story which brought about the vision of this organization. Education was the key that unlocked my potential, the instrument that helped me to escape poverty. In 2014, I also shared a greatest passion for leadership, and I publicly made a commitment, that - ‘I want to see a world where young people are groomed to think with a global focus.’ These words, I do not take them lightly, it is the reason why I desire to work with all young people from across the globe in bringing innovative solutions to poverty. In a world where young people are role players, poverty should stop being our everyday challenge.
To this end, we have grown from compassionate hearts of individuals who have supported our organisation with resources, finances, skills and experiences, advice and knowledge. I know that your commitment to this organisation, and its vision for African people is unwavering. I’ll continue to play a role in leading this organisation for successful change. As Chairman, I look forward to progress, to working with young people, students and all leaders in this world to bring about the much needed change. A world where girls and young women are exploited, abused, and treated unfairly should come to an end. Being born a single boy in a family of girls taught me that women are precious, and when they are fully empowered they become an unstoppable force.
I welcome you with all your families, friends and colleagues to join us as we play a role in securing a better future for our children. I look forward to meet you soon, at our events and in your community,
Let’s start here and now,
